Zappy Nappy took out first place in the 1994 Sunshine Coast Economic Development Board's "Innovations Award". A number of articles appeared in the Noosa news, Sunshine Coast Daily and The Noosa Citizen as well as television and radio coverage which all contributed to the success of the Zappy Nappy innovation.

The Zappy Nappies are all designed and manufactured on the Sunshine Coast keeping jobs in Australia.
